Every now and then people need help in getting their message out to the public, be it a non-profit that’s raising awareness for their cause, a local business launching a new product/service or a citizen with a newsworthy photo.
In this Open Diversity meet-up, David and Valencio will be talking about their UAE based tech startup, giving you tips & ideas on how to you can use the web to get your business or cause featured in the news and going through an interactive feedback session - helping you find the right journalists through their platformhttp://PressPass.me/, in the process.
David Haddad is a a product manager and software engineer, who’s worked in Dubai, Stockholm and New York, has conceptualized and built several online payment, social networking, and news/media products – attracting hundreds of thousands to a few million users.
Valencio Cardoso is a digital art director, who has worked at some of the top interactive advertising agencies globally. He also created TheSociallyConsciousBlog.org &SociallyConsciousArabia.com – websites aimed at raising awareness for causes & initiatives doing exceptional jobs using the web/social media to make a positive impact on society.
This educational talk/workshop will be held on Sunday, February 26th from 7 to 9PM at the Shelter, in Al Quoz Dubai.
It is a free/open event, so you can bring along your friends and anyone interested in learning about PR or tech innovation.
